The MacYoung brand was first established by business entrepreneurs Trevor & Jacqui Young when owner operated a Scottish restaurant in Beaufort West. During 2001 they relocated to Mossel Bay to enter the real estate industry and established the very successful MacYoung Real Estate. At the peak of the property boom the company employed 16 fulltime Agents turning R200m in one year.
Various property developments like Villa Pirogue , Fairview , Villa Italia , were either sold , marketed or constructed.

During 2008 the MacYoung Group extended it’s services within the local business and social community in the form of MacYoung Helicopters , a licenced charter operator and acquired a new Robinson R44 Raven ll Helicopter. Amongst other , flips around The Point , shark watching and charters are offered. MacYoung Helicopters is a licenced air service operator: AOC N996D / G997D.

The latest extension to the MacYoung brand is MacYoung Auto. A pre-owned dealership in the heart of Voorbaai , Mossel Bay. MacYoung Auto is focussed to specialize in selected vehicles , post 2006 with relatively low mileage.
